By Going Digital we are taking one more step in Going Green! LPI's move to digital is one more major step we have taken to eliminate waste from our processes and help the environment. Over the years we have used soy based inks, recycled papers and reduced our chemical usage. This latest step to digital printing has eliminated multiple chemicals, inks, negatives, plates, rags, wipes, hand cleaners, water and more. Going digital has reduced our paper waste & energy consumption by 50%. Production times are cut 75%. This has allowed us to pass on these savings to our clients with prices on color projects that are 25-50% lower than previous conventional printing!
A very important way that we urge our customers to partner with us in our environment efforts is by using our digital/internet ordering, proofing, and reordering system. Use of our digital ordering system enables all of us to save substantial amounts of gasoline and other raw materials.
